I have been gardening and landscaping from a young age, always taking an interest in plants and visiting greenhouses with my mom, and working on landscaping projects with my dad.

When my husband and I met, that interest expanded and continued. We have worked on two fixer upper projects together, doing a majority of the labour ourselves. So much of my personal and professional time has been dedicated to learning, designing and teaching.

When I was working on a name for my business I knew the name had to included a dedication to the place where it all really fell in to place, my current home here in Iowa. Miller, my last name and Hill for our street name at our current home. We fell in love with so much about this place and it has inspired in me so much. It has also taught me a lot about hard work.

We’ve put so much into this place and learned what being dedicated to the “wealth” of the land means. It’s given us so much in return. It is my greatest hope that I can continue that work and help others do the same for themselves.
